After seven years of being teamed with Amazon.com for e-commerce, it's
Independence Day for Borders as the company launches its much anticipated,
content rich e-commerce site-Borders.com. The site will do more than just
sell books...it promises to bring a real bookstore experience to life
online.
The most prominent feature is the "Magic Shelf." When users log on to
the new site's home page, they will be greeted by a virtual bookshelf
displaying book covers much like in a bookstore. The magic shelf can be
personalized based on the preferences of the individual user.
The new Borders.com also offers original and exclusive borders video
